Further Marvel Character Changes – This time Iron Man
Marvel is on a bit of a roll lately with their announcements of late introducing a female Thor and a black Captain America. It has now been revealed through Mashable.com that Marvel will now be releasing a darker version of Iron Man.
It is believed that this Iron Man will be unleashed as a result of Tony Stark’s slow descent as a result of his ego. A version of his volatile Extremis technology on the people of San Francisco will then be unleashed.
November will see the release of Superior Iron Man in place of Marvel’s Iron Man comic book. In this new release we will see Stark relocating to San Francisco and creating a mobile application promising beauty, perfection and very possibly immortality.
As with anything that extreme his work comes at a terrible price and will throw Stark’s status as one of the good guys into question. His genius move will pit him against Daredevil who doesn’t approve of Stark’s vision.
2005-2006 saw Extremis first being introduced as a version of armour that comes from within Stark’s body. The new Iron Man armour will be equal parts Apple computer and Ron.
Thankfully we are to believe that this will in no way change the way Iron Man and Tony Stark for the foreseeable future. In other words; Tony Stark is here to stay.
