Yesterday a video was doing the rounds of Dublins very own Spider-Man in an altercation with another man on the street – the video, posted on Facebook by Robert Bolster is tagged with ‘Only in Dublin do you see a junkie robbing Spider-mans money‘. The reason for the brawl is unknown but going by Bolster’s post, which has since been shared over 6000 times on Facebook, it would seem the non-costumed brawler allegedly attempted to steal money from a street performer.
It is now being reported that both men in the video have been arrested by Gardái for the brawl
The Spider-News doesn’t stop here though and a man dressed as Ultimate Spider-Man/Miles Morales has been arrested for assaulting a police officer. Twenty-five year old Junior Bishop punched the police officer after getting into an argument with him over money he demanded of a fan for taking a picture – the fan offered a $1 but Bishop demanded $5.
The incident left the police officer with cuts and a swollen eye, Bishop has since been charged with assaulting an officer, resisting arrest and criminal mischief.
