That’s from Haim Saban who in conjunction with Lionsgate have announced that the Power Rangers are returning to the big screen in a reboot. They aren’t talking about Power Rangers in the last few years, no they are going right back to the 1993 series and kicking things off from the very beginning! Rumour has it this reboot will put a twist on the original story giving the High Schoolers/Power Rangers super powers they must control in order to save the world.
Speaking about the deal struck between Lionsgate and themselves, Saban also said that “Lionsgate is the perfect home for elevating our Power Rangers brand to the next level… They have the vision, marketing prowess and incredible track record in launching breakthrough hits from The Hunger Games to Twilight and Divergent.“
No word on when we can expect this in cinemas but no time like present to dust off my pink I mean yellow err I mean Red uniform.
