Matthew Vaughn cannot stop with the comic book movies, it seems. Kick Ass, X-Men: First Class and now this, Kingsman: The Secret Service. Based upon the graphic novel by Mark Millar The Secret Service, Kingsman stars Michael Caine, Samuel L. Jackson, Colin Firth and Taron Egerton in what might be the spy film of the year. Here’s the first trailer:
The official synopsis reads:
Kingsman: The Secret Service tells the story of a super-secret spy organization that recruits an unrefined but promising street kid into the agency’s ultra-competitive training program just as a global threat emerges from a twisted tech genius.
Matthew Vaughn’s films are famously of a high caliber and that cast really speaks for itself, so I’m all for checking this out.
Kingsman: The Secret Service is due to open in theaters October 24th.
