That’s grand though 2016 is two years off but it’s release date is scheduled for May 6th, the same day that DC will drop their Man of Steel sequel that will not only feature Superman but Batman and Wonder Woman as well. Now comic fans have always battled under the flags of DC and Marvel but it seems they’ll be taking their next big fight to the cinema! The ‘Winter Soldier’ is the the second Captain America movie with Chris Evans reprising the role for the next Avengers film, ‘The Age of Ultron‘.

Speaking to IGN, David Goyer (The Dark Knight, Man of Steel) spoke about how Marvel’s creation of a Universe and why it might not work for DC:

I mean, it’s too early. I know that Warner Bros. would love to make their universe more cohesive. There have been a lot of general conversations about that, but it’s really, really early. I’m not sure. Marvel has had enormous success, but I’m not sure that everybody should try to emulate them either. It’s just been vague conversations so far.

Whether Marvel and DC will do battle at the cinema is yet to be seen, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Marvel also have dates marked for  July 8th 2016 and May 5th 2017 means we could see Cap’ pushed back or moved to avoid the big clash.
