We all knew this was coming but now at last, it’s been officially confirmed. Warner Bros. president of worldwide production Greg Silverman has announced his studios plans to make a “Justice League” movie.
Following suit from “Man of Steel” and its follow-up, “Justice League is to be directed by Zack Snyder with Henry Cavill planned to return as Superman alongside Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot, who are set to play Batman and Wonder Woman in the “Man of Steel” sequel “Batman vs. Superman.”
Speaking to the Wall Street Journal Silverman said ’Superman vs Batman’ will lead into ‘Justice League, It will be a further expansion of this universe.”
We know there’s a script on the way but with no release date just yet it’s assumed to happened before 2018 at least. Silverman gave no word on which other heroes will join Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman in ‘Justice League,’ despite the studios recent casting for Cyborg who we expect to see in “Batman vs. Superman” and presumably in ‘Justice League’ after.
