The Fantastic Four finally cast?
Memorise these names: Jamie Bell, Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara and Miles Teller – these four are your new Fantastic Four family. Josh Trank’s ‘Fantastic Four’ is an overhaul/reboot of the last two movies, Trank a relatively newcomer in Hollywood is directing the movie, the ‘Chronicle’ director, his first feature length film, this FF movie won’t just be the same old stuff rehashed.
The new movie will be based on the ‘Ultimate Fantastic Four’ Universe, the origins and appearance of the characters are all different, with each member being younger than their counterpart, they acquire their powers not from cosmic radiation but a teleporter malfunction.
The casting news of Bell, Jordan, Mara and Teller is interesting and while I had Bell pegged for Reed Richards it seems that’s not the case and the British actor will be bulking up and petrifying himself (not literally mind you) for the role of The Thing aka Ben Grimm. The word according to ‘The Wrap’ is that Bell’s contract is still on the table but a signing is imminent while Teller will be juggling his role as Reed with other commitments.
