It has been just been confirmed that legendary Oscar winning actor Philip Seymour Hoffman has been found dead in his apartment in Manhattan.
Hoffman who was only 46 was a well renowned and respected actor who won his Oscar for his role in the 2005 critically acclaimed film Capote.
He was found dead on Sunday afternoon in his apartment according to law enforcement officials. The Chief Medical Examiner has yet to determine the exact cause of death but law enforcement’s suspect that it is likely to have been a drug overdose
