Were you one of the avid fans of Konami’s horror series that rushed out to snap up the recent HD collection? Well we picked up ours on the day of release but were somewhat taken aback as were countless others who instantly realised that there might be some glitches… some super obvious glitches in the game! With fans reporting everything from scrambled frame to frame skips, audio out of synch and other issues, Konami stepped up to the plate and got working on some patches but… and this is a big BUT…
According to a press release issued by Konami yesterday a patch is available BUT only for PlayStation 3 gamers:
“Today, Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. announced that while a PlayStation®3 online title update for Silent Hill HD Collection has been deployed for download via PlayStation®Network, plans for an XBOX®360 title update have been cancelled due to technical issues and resources.
Understanding the issues some users are experiencing, KONAMI issued a title update for Silent Hill HD Collection (PS3), which fixed frame rate issues as well as audio-synching and other reported issues. KONAMI apologizes to any players who are continuing to experience these issues on the XBOX 360. “
…not exactly good news for Xbox folks!
