Hideo Kojima confirmed in a recent issue of the french IG Magazine, that they are working on a Metal Gear Solid 5 using the new FOX engine. He said that Metal Gear Solid 5 will as much infiltration and espionage as it will be social interactions, to get other characters to do a “favour” for you, being inspired by the Deus Ex games apparently. He also confirmed it will be a Solid Snake game and not related to Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance (starring Quinton Flynn) with Raiden, despite the fact Kojima wanted Snake to die at the end of Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of the Patriots.
Snake wasn’t in that good a shape after the last one, maybe it will be at a point earlier in his career or maybe Snake will have a cyborg ninja suit… cough… in fact knowing Kojima it will probably be something pretty crazy.
