It’s going to be a busy month in the Japanese music industry, especially where Visual Kei is involved. Earlier this week marked the release of LM.C‘s newest album, ‘Strong Pop‘, while SuG will be releasing their album ‘Lollipop Kingdom‘ on the 25th of April, after having released their latest live DVD, ‘VIP Pop Show’ just over two weeks ago. To promote this album they will be releasing two pv’s for two tracks off this new release.
Sporting a darker image than usual, it becomes clear after listening to the previews of both new songs that the band have opted for a slightly darker, more mature sound for their newest album. We’ll bring you the full videos and songs as they become available, but in the meantime be sure to check out both the preview for ‘Howling Magic’ above and ‘Pastel Horror Yum Yum Show’ below. Even with the silly names, we’re excited to hear what else the album will have in store for us! And that might not be the only thing to be excited about; in the video featuring both previews, vocalist Takeru says in English:
“Now we’re going to have our first Asian tour but I want to go all over the world. So please wait for us for little time [a little bit longer]. But first enjoy our new album”
Could this be hinting at a world tour in the works? We certainly hope so.
Update: No sooner did we post this article did the second preview get removed from Youtube. While we couldn’t find another preview of the video, we found something better; the full pv for Pastel Horror Yum Yum Show. Check it out and enjoy!
