No one is really surprised that the Hunger Games has cleaned up at the Box Office, The Hunger Game grossed $155 million in it’s opening week, not including international box office, When those figures come in it will be substantially higher. For those keeping score at home that is the third highest opening right behind Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 and The Dark Knight. It was a smash, granted no one else was really brave enough to up against it with the next highest grossing movie this week being 21 Jump Street at a paltry $21.2 Million and poor old John Carter being at $5 Million
The only downside from the success of the Hunger Games is that our beloved Editor in Chief has taken to hunting us through the woods with Bow and Arrow when me miss deadlines.
