ArcadeCon 'Be the Band' Competition
ArcadeCon is back and is promising to be bigger and better than ever! With more events, guests, things to see and do, the weekend is something no one should miss! After the success of the Masquerade Ball last year, another Ball will take place on the Saturday night of the convention ‘The Nightmare Ball’ with attendees encouraged to dress up as the things that frighten them!
With some amazing bands and musicians playing our events last year, ArcadeCon is now on the lookout for ONE act to be the headliner for the convention! We’re looking for the most creative, energetic and down right talented people out there… so we want you!
‘Be the Band’ is giving any band or solo artist to play at ArcadeCon 2012 – not only will you be the only band playing that night but you will be the only band to play the event this year and we’re inviting some talent scouts to the event – so if you fancy playing to a huge crowd at one of the biggest events this summer then you have to enter our competition!
Here is how you do it…
- Design a poster for your act
- Include the following information on the poster: ArcadeCon, Friday 13th – 15th July, D4 Hotels Dublin, www.the-arcade.ie
- Send your completed poster to: convention@the-arcade.ie BY March 2nd
- We’ll pick the best entries and post them on our Facebook page
- Promote your poster everywhere possible Facebook/Twitter/Tumblr/
- The poster with the most ‘Likes’ + ‘Shares’ by May 1st will win the competition and play at the Nightmare Ball
- Show up to the convention and play some awesome music!
