Can I come in cosplay?

Of course! We encourage anyone interested in cosplay to come along and do so and show us their stuff.

My cosplay requires props (sword, gun, etc.), what am I allowed to bring with me?

You are not allowed to bring anything that could endanger yourself or another attendees safety. Real weapons (swords, guns, ninja equipment, etc.) are not acceptable and will be confiscated and only returned when the owner leaves the premises. Props made from plastic, foam, light timber, paper, cloth, etc. are acceptable. We ask that you take care while brandishing/using them.

How do I know if my costume is acceptable?

Your costume should not hinder your movement so as to cause an accident, be offensive or be too revealing – with private parts covered. Remember that while you might be having fun other people will also be attending and you are expected to be mindful and respectful of them.

What is your policy on cosplay and harassment?

ArcadeCon operates a zero tolerance policy on harassment. Our policy is laid out in more detail here – Cosplay is NOT consent!

If there is anything above you are unsure of or have a question that is not listed please contact us at info@arcadecon.ie and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
