While I enjoyed the first half of the movie the second was just abysmal and showed how little Abrams knows about Star Trek, he blatantly ignored all well established mechanics of the Star Trek universe. Just so many things wrong, too many to list :) “This is a Star Trek movie through and through”, I strongly disagree with that statement, it was more like Star Wars than Star Trek.
