A couple of weeks ago, Denis Villeneuve announced that Blade Runner 2049 would get a series of shorts, expanding on certain events that happened on the years prior to the film.
We have the second one of those shorts, called 2048: Nowhere To Hide. This short, like the one focusing on Jared Leto‘s character, was directed by Jake Scott. However this one focuses on Sapper Morton, the character played by Dave Bautista.
This short reveals what I suspected, that Bautista‘s character is a replicant. However, there’s something that annoys me. He kills three or four guys and he doesn’t Batista Bomb any of them. Hopefully that will be addressed in the film, because I really want to see him Batista Bombing someone.
Blade Runner 2049 will be out on October 5. I’m already planning my trip to Dublin to see it on IMAX because that’s how much I’m looking forward to it.
