Lucasfilm has been gradually releasing information about the upcoming Han Solo movie project, and for a long time, fans have been wondering what role Game of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke would play. In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, actor Michael K. Williams gave us a hint.
He had been talking about the role his character played in the film, while mentioning the name of Clarke‘s character. He said his character was “a link between Han Solo and Emilia’s character, Kira.”
According to MakingStarWars the official spelling of the character is actually ‘Kura’. Not much has been revealed about what role she will play in the overall plot, but we do know that Rey’s name was originally supposed to be Kira in The Force Awakens. However, it is doubtful that the characters are connected in any way.
So, there you go! The name of Emilia Clarke‘s character is ‘Kira’ or ‘Kura’ and seems to be tied to Han Solo in some way! We can’t wait to find out more!
