Nowadays for every popular TV show out there, there are more than a dozen YouTube channels doing episode breakdown videos. For this week’s addition of EwTube, I am going to introduce you all to my favourite such YouTube channel, Emergency Awesome.
Emergency Awesome is the brainchild of Los Angeles based YouTuber Charlie Schneider. Since joining YouTube in October 2012, Emergency Awesome has amassed over 2 million subscribers and over 650 million views. The channel posts a wide range of content covering everything from film trailers, TV episode breakdowns, Easter eggs to videos answering fan questions.
At the moment, Emergency Awesome is posting weekly videos about Game Of Thrones, The Walking Dead, The Flash, Arrow and Rick & Morty along with the latest news regarding the Marvel and DC cinematic universes.
I honestly really enjoy Charlie Schneider‘s style of content creation as he always comes across as knowledgable on the topics he discusses and his videos have a distinct professional style to them. No screaming high pinched know-it-all super fan to be found here, just some of the best nerd culture content you are likely to find on YouTube. Except, of course, The Arcade’s official channel! Wink wink.
