Two Weeks
It’s amazing how a song can utterly transport you to a time and place! For example when this track from Tracy Chapman came on shuffle in my Spotify library, I was taken back to my college days. I stole my brother’s discman and this the self-titled album before getting on a bus back to college. Due to crappy Irish infrastructure and a woeful national bus service, a trip that would take roughly 3 hours by car was nearly 5.5 hours by bus. I only had this album to listen to the whole way.
While the album is noted for featuring some of Chapman’s best known work, it was this song that stuck for me. So on this muggy and murky Thursday morning, take a trip down memory lane!
