The Disaster Artist Hits The Big Screen

Odds are, you know what movie I’m talking about when I say The Room. The film was so infamously bad that many have dubbed it the worst film ever made. Of course, that means the internet loves it. Who doesn’t love watching car crash movies?

Following the success(?) of The Room, one of its stars Greg Sestero wrote a tell-all book detailing the struggle behind the scenes. He called this book The Disaster Artist and as of this year, it has been adapted for the big screen.

I cannot tell you how happy this trailer makes me. I’ve been waiting for the day I get to laugh at The Room again, and now that day has arrived! Say what you will about Franco and Rogen but their work on The Interview was pretty damn good. And if this is anywhere near as funny, we’re all in for a treat! Plus, it gives me an excuse to go read The Disaster Artist and actually find out how horrific The Room was behind the scenes. According to the book, the trailer is factually correct that it took 67 takes to produce the infamous “Oh, hi Mark!” scene.

The Disaster Artist is due to release in a limited run on December 1st. No idea if every cinema will be showing it but there’s sure to be a couple in your area so be sure to check the listings in December.

I’ll definitely be front of the queue for a ticket. How about you guys? Let us know in the comments below.
