I know I’m not the only one still reeling from the finale of Season 9 of RuPaul’s Drag Race this week. Without giving too much away, the lip sync performances this year are to die for. I’ve never seen so much theatrics on stage! And there were definitely some big surprises on the night.
That said, I can’t be the only one who screamed “YAAAS QUEEN! GET IT!” at the screen when I saw the song choices for the night. Among them was ‘So Emotional’ by Whitney Houston, perhaps one of the best songs to bring out a queens fierceness. I’ve been humming this shit since Saturday, barely fighting the urge to break out into song on my commute home. There could be no other choice for track of the day today. So turn the volume up and let your inner queen out!
