I’m really looking forward to upcoming release, Baby Driver, but I’ve wanted a new Edgar Wright film for years. The wait after Scott Pilgrim vs The World and the whole Ant-Man fiasco has just been too much.
The film tells the story of a young getaway driver coerced into working for a crime boss. He soon finds himself taking part in a dangerous heist that’s doomed to fail.
Baby Driver will be out in a couple of months, August 18 according to IMDB. It’s been getting great reviews at festivals and to keep the hype train going, we have this featurette about the soundtrack.
And it’s quite interesting. We have Kevin Spacey, Jon Hamm, and Wright himself talking about the music and how it makes the film. As I hoped, the film was written around the soundtrack, and it looks like it works wonders.
