There are about two weeks left until we get to see the next Alien film. Ridley Scott’s Alien: Covenant releases on May 12 and fans are getting excited. There are questions about where in the timeline this new film takes place in regards to the whole Alien franchise and fans REALLY want to know how Ridley’s Prometheus will connect to the new film. They want to know what happened to David (Michael Fassbender) and Dr. Elizabeth Shaw (Noomi Rapace) after the events of Prometheus when they blasted off into space.
Many of those questions will soon be answered with the release of the new film. However, we have at least a small answer to one of those questions now. A prologue to the upcoming Alien: Covenant has been released called: The Crossing. This short video shows what happened to David and Elizabeth after the Prometheus Expedition failed. There is no word on whether this prologue will be attached to the movie so just in case it’s not, check out the video below!
