I’ve been taking a nostalgic trip the last couple of weeks. One of the musical artists I’ve revisited in that time is Mika. Mika is seriously underrated in his time, particularly most recently, in my opinion.
Most probably remember him for his hit song, ‘Grace Kelly’ which came out back in 2007. Feel old yet?
Well, the song I’ve chosen for today’s Track of the Day is ‘Kick Ass (We Are Young)’. A great song Mika performed, alongside RedOne for the soundtrack of the film Kick Ass.
It was the first song he ever wrote specifically for a film, and had only three days to write it. It is one of my favourite Mika songs to date!
