Red Dead Redemption 2 debut trailer released to the world on October 20 and made the rumours a total reality: Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming.
The game is the long-awaited sequel to Rockstar Games 2010’s breakthrough hit Red Dead Redemption. The game will release in Autumn 2017 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The trailer teases the world of Red Dead Redemption 2, which looks beautiful; full of wildlife, beautiful vistas and colour. There is a small glimpses of possible transport options, such as horse, carriage and a train seen throughout the trailer. There is only one line of dialogue spoken in the trailer – “Listen to me. When the time comes, you gotta run and don’t look back. This is over.”
Many questions are left unanswered like when is the game set? Who is the main character? Are you an outlaw or good guy? Who is speaking in the trailer and finally who are the seven masked men that ride into the vista at the end of the trailer?
It has also been revealed by a PlayStation blog, that Sony will be partnering with Rockstar to bring online content for the game first.
The blog states:

In addition, the PS3 classic Red Dead Redemption will be coming to PlayStation Now soon. Relive the epic story of former outlaw John Marston as he hunts down the gang members he once called friends through the harsh and punishing landscape of America’s dying West.”
Red Dead Redemption 2 is sure to be a big hit among fans, so expect to see more in the coming months, as Rockstar ride into its Autumn 2017 release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
