When I have too much time on my hands I wash my clothes or fall down an internet hole, reading Wikipedia entries or window shopping for second-hand typewriters (epic evenings, I assure you). This man, however, makes me feel like I’m not doing enough with my down time.
Alan Pan, a builder and creator who goes by the YouTube handle Sufficiently Advanced, focused on the X-Men for the last month and has produced what he calls a ‘Cyclops Visor’. If that wasn’t clear, it’s in the title: Eye Flamethrowers. EYE FLAMETHROWERS.
The build consists of pilot lights and nozzles, a pump, fuel, and most importantly, a ‘crazy button’. What’s an X-men-themed flamethrowing face mask without a crazy button? Nothing, that’s what. Tempted though you may be, maybe don’t play with fire yourself. I’m going to stick with online antiquing, thank you very much.
