Monday will see the announcement from the 30th issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump that the My Hero Academia anime series will have a second season. The issue is also going to reveal a new visual for the second season.
The second season is set to cover the U.A Sports Festival of the original manga by Kōhei Horikoshi. The superhero based manga was first launched in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2014. While only the fourth volume of the manga has been compiled and released in English in print, Viz Media is currently publishing the manga digitally in its own Weekly Shonen Jump.
