It was announced yesterday via the official film Twitter page that today would see the first trailer from the much anticipated live-action version of Beauty of the Beast arrive online. The trailer was aired on Good Morning America and has just become available on YouTube.
Although we cannot see much of stars Emma Watson or indeed Dan Stevens (Beast) or Luke Evans (Gaston), we do get a beautiful first look at the castle and the famous family portrait of the prince and his family prior to his change in appearance. Watson appears on screen for a matter of moments gazing at the mysterious rose in the glass case and it can be guessed at that it is her entering the castle door at an earlier point in the trailer.
The film will receive a St Patrick’s Day release in the US and UK next year and it is hoped that Irish fans will not need to wait any longer than that.
Emma Watson was recently seen in Regression which is now available on DVD and will appear in the upcoming The Colony which is released on June 24.
