Up until now The Crow remake has been in that precarious position of ‘maybe’. Sometimes films can be in the ‘maybe-zone’ for years or even indefinitely; being picked up by a studio doesn’t necessarily guarantee a movie. However, in this case it does 
seem like a movie is coming our way.
We can confirm that the leads have been cast with Jack Huston (Boardwalk Empire) and Jessica Brown Findlay (Downton Abbey) confirmed for the roles of Eric Draven and Shelly Webster.
Crow creator James O’Barr has also confirmed that the movie won’t be a straight-up remake and will instead be based on an adaptation of the graphic novel; shooting is due to begin this Spring with Corin Hardy in the directors chair. Exciting news all round on this one.
