The Hugh Jackman-led Pan has its first trailer, at long last, and its an interesting one. Directed by Joe Wright, the re-imagining takes us before the time of Peter Pan, to when Blackbeard (Jackman) takes the wee adventurer and his comrades around Neverland for the first time.
Looks very reminiscent of Hook, which is far from a bad thing. It will be interesting to see if it plays out similarly so as to create a pseudo-trilogy of Pan, Disney’s Peter Pan and Hook. Either way, the set and character design both look very 90’s, which makes a retro fiend like me very happy. We’ll find out July 17th, 2015!
