Final Fantasy XV’s Trailer Released

Final Fantasy fans can final rejoice in the fact that Square Enix have finally debuted the trailer for Final Fantasy XV at Tokyo Game Show 2014.

The trailer shows a brand new world from the Final Fantasy franchise. There is a more modern look and feel to the entire thing, check out that car!! Thankfully it still holds true to its past in terms of including fantastical mythical creatures and massive earthshattering swords.
This follows the news that Hajime Tabata of Final Fantasy Type-0 will be replacing Tetsuya Nomura as the director for Final Fantasy XV. It has been assured by Square Enix CEO that there will be no delays and that the production team are still hard at work under Hajime Tabata, the game will still have all Nomura’s contributions in terms of story, characters and world building included. This announcement was followed up with saying that this is to give Nomura time to focus his efforts on Kingdom Hearts III – a statement fans have been waiting a long time to hear.
This follows the news of Square Enix debuting the trailer for Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, it confirmed that the game would in fact be released in March 2015 – on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Square Enix has described Type-0 HD as:
“Step into the fray as Class Zero, a group of fourteen students from an elite military academy whose country is attacked by an aggressive neighboring Empire. Using the powerful abilities and magic of all fourteen characters in fast-paced action RPG combat, players must face the brutality and injustices of war to uncover the secrets of its genesis.”
Square Enix also confirmed that the game would include a playable demo called “Episode Duscae” of Final Fantasy XV.
