Written by Stefani, the song is all about the ending of her seven year relationship with fellow band member, bassist, Tony Kanal. It maintained the number one spot for a massive sixteen weeks on Billboard’s Hot 100 Airplay while here in Ireland the United Kingdom it clung to the top spot for just three weeks.
